Having someone pick out the mods on your car,put them on and then brag about it is like someone banging your wife then bragging about the kid.

Sorry again if this offends anyone.
I need a beer.
Ha.. Offensive or not.. that was hilarious. lol

Like I said in my earlier post, I've wanted a Camaro since I was 10 but have always just had cars that got me from A to B and weren't thought of afterwards. Now that I have my Camaro and I'm ready to start playing with her and doing my modding and such I find myself super excited, albeit, a little nervous.

I'm a composer by trade, no real mechanical background to speak of. I'm not helpless, I change my own oil, know how to plug a flat, know the difference between a crank shaft and a window crank lol, but Ive never really dove in and done stuff with my car . I feel it would be cheating or at least, less fulfilling, to take mods to someone else to do, at least ones that should be easily done yourself, but I am indeed a bit nervous that I'll screw something up. =)
No mechanic background here... But always love to work on my cars! With the help from good guys here and DIY (a You Tube video here and there) you can almost do any mod... If not there's always Jerry!

Hey, Jerry, nice to meet ya.

Fords, NJ huh? what an unfortunate name for a town. =)

That's actually pretty close to me, I'm in Sayreville. I may have to come to you for some things and pick your brain for others. I really would like to try to learn to do most things myself, but you gotta start somewhere. =) i can trade you piano or guitar lessons for knowledge though. lol =)

I'm always game to teach music to people (except my wife.. teaching her always ends up frustrating me lol) If you'd really want some some time, I'm all for it.

Thanks, I surely will... Even if that DOES mean having to go to Fords.. =) I've gone as far as not buying breakfast or lunch at work anymore and putting that aside to justify all the money I'm about to put into the car lol.

I was just living in Sayreville. You wouldn't happen to be one of the two Camaros on Washington, close by the Wawa would you?

Theres a black LS and a yellow LT I think.

Nope, not me. I'm not far from there though. Just up off Main St. Mine is Silver Ice and as of this coming monday it will have black rally stripes. I haven't seen the other 2 over there yet. I'll have to drive down Washington on my way home and see if I spot them.
