Thanks Norm. I'm resting now. Normagene, that is a decorative corner of the block wall between our yards.

Did more yard work this morning before temps passed 100°. My hedge trimmer was making a weird rubbing noise when cutting. The motor intermittently smoked too, but it lasted long enough to trim 10 bushes. Bought a new one while running errands. Tomorrow morning I will trim 3 trees.

Had to replace the battery in my Dakota today. After installing it, I bought more landscape stone for the front yard. It's very thin in some areas. That's only 1/2 ton.

Woooooooooooooooo Hooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! My son called me last night and talked for a couple of hours. It was great to hear his voice again. I love and miss him sooooooooooooooooooo much. I'm so proud of him for his dedication to serving his country but of course I worry too. I am very tired from being up late talking to him and did not get my "homework" done so will be playing catch-up today at work, but of course, I don't care at all. It is going to be a good day.

Glad you got to talk to your son for a nice long personnel conversation. Talking to family can really perk a person up. HAGD Jan

I had a nice surprise awaiting me when I got home. A check from LS Fest! I beat one person a girl in an SS but I guess that was enough to finish a bit in the money. Here is a repost of the one win video & the check. One of my club members came in second in the 5th Gen division. I bet he got a sweet check!

.

Congrats. That looks like a lot of fun. I wish there was a club where I lived

Today Fall in the air, jewel tone blue sky, temps from mid 50s to low 70s, and foliage changing colors. This morning took both the Camaro & Riviera to Krown for annual rust treatment as dreaded dark and dirty long winter months approaching to fast. A supervisor at Krown commented that she loved the sound of my exhaust system (not stock don't you know). At Krown there is a wall of glass so you can view your auto being rust treated. Almost had to laugh when the staff opened the hood, gathered around looking at the engine and stopped spraying the rust preventive chemicals. Is it a V6, V8, what is it? All I could see is their animated discussions but could not hear what they were saying. This is a production: they drive the car in, up on a lift, spray, lift down, spray some more, move forward, wash. Funny how the guys paused looking and discussing the engine, paused and discussed the interior with the HUD. Every year when I take my Camaro V6 in for rust treatments the young guys doing the spraying stop and discuss my Summit White. My Krown location has some sweet very expensive autos daily, but the Camaro gets attention. Also funny I turn around and within an hour bring in my pearl white 1998 Riviera. Darn, those young bucks have never seen a 16 year old luxury two door Buick. Not unusual to be asked is my 16 year old Riviera a Jaguar. It does look factory new.

Managed to mark more student work today while waiting for my cars to be Krowned. All in all a very good day.

I am so happy that you got to talk with your son Jan. I know from checking in here how much that meant to you. We are in a beautiful stretch of weather here sunny and in the 70's and its supposed to stay that way well into next week. Yesterday I washed the Camaro and today my truck. We are going to Cleveland on Sat for our final Indians game of the season. We are going to take the Camaro and enjoy a nice long top down ride there.

Good evening crew. Had a busy day today but still managed to get all my documentation done. Good thing as I had 5 Music City Camaro club membership join requests to process when I logged in this evening. Got to turn in early this evening as not enough sleep last night............... but well worth it. Have a good evening crew.

Have fun Zandron!

Good morning crew. Another crisp clear morning in Tennessee. I'm happy to not have to drive into Nashville. I have a case opening for a new client in Springfield. Hubby actually referred this one & says they will be god about showing up. That is a good thing. Have a Great Friday crew.

Good evening. It was a nice evening to sit out by the garage until the sun was down low enough that the mosquitos took over. just a day hanging out around the house tomorrow. I plan to do some maintenance check-ups on Ruby, ck torque on manifold, ck throttle body, ck MAF, ...& whatever else I can think of. The V6 guys ran the DA for me on my fastest run from last year's fall drag race & this year's. End result, my headers & tune netted me no more HP on the track. I need to know why. So checking basics first then need my tuner to give it another go over to figure this thing out.

Then we will do some things around the yard & cook out some hamburgers.

Have a good weekend crew.

Took me ALL day to install 11 outdoor low voltage lights and bury 367 feet of power wire. The yard looks real nice at night, but I'm too tired to take a good photo. My cell phone camera can't take a decent night time photo. I accomplished quite a bit around here during my vacation. I need one more day, but it's supposed to rain tomorrow, and I fly to Maryland for work on Sunday.

Tomorrow is our 28th wedding anniversary. We'll have to think of something cool to do.

Hmm, sounds like she's not quite dialed in yet. You should definitely be getting more power with those kinda mods. Must sound awesome! We had the Noweeds installed and when the Diverters are Wide Open its crazy loud. But hubby would like to do headers next.
