I think it down to the brass tacks now. Orange has got to be dying from the waiting, but I think it will have been worth the wait.

Damn man I cant wait for a good turbo kit with solid #s to come out.

Then its 4.11 gears + upgraded rear.

I love the RX setup and Z and Jim seem to like the STS. This one will add to the stable. I'm thinking you probably won't need agressive gears with any of them with good tires and trailing arms, but they can't hurt. Just don't over do it and find you have to shift to 4th right at the line.

On a side note, has anyone looked at the differential on the C5 auto vettes? Man that thing looks a lot like the one on the auto V6 camaros. Won't help you manual guys, but that may be a possibility for the rest of us.

You know the C5 rear end is a transaxel right? Not a normal differential. They look nothing alike.

That doesn't look anything like the one I saw. He said it came out of a 2002 vette. Hmmmm... Back to the drawing board for me.

OK sorry for the slow updates, but IPS has been busy......

They have been busy! First and only 7 Second IRS Vette in the world......

Under record-setting conditions during qualifying at the Atlanta Dragway, Mark and his incredible street-driven Corvette blasted to 7.89 elapsed time at 180 miles per hour on Saturday to become the first and only seven second IRS Corvette in the world. The incrementals were 1.357, 3.456, 5.170 at 144.40, 6.647, and 7.897 at 180.84. A well-deserved congratulations goes out to Mark and his truly sinister Corvette for accomplishing the feat.
