I ordered from Stingray (The Sister Dealer in FL)... I'm in the same boat as many people (QC Purgatory). I'm just waiting to see if Stingray is going to maintain the same quality reputation as Classic... They're the new guys on the block and I'd love to be able to say nice things.

I'll let you guys know how my buying experience goes, if and when my car ever arrives ):

Thing is Eric said he called the DBC and they told him it was still in QC .. He said it had to be on transport at that time ... I'm wondering why they don't know exactly where thier (thier being GM not the dealer) cars are at all times??

Rooting for everyone elses car who has been waiting to get there soon!!

Like I said before, it appears that GM's systems are laggin a bit behind. Yours is not the first surprise delivery, hopefully there will be some more pleasant surprises & better updates from GM in the future!

Welcome Eric, thank you so much for your help with everything, I did finally get my car ordered from Classic, which would have never happened had Camaro Scotty not pointed me in your direction, and your & the rest of the Classic team's help!

Only thing I wish I was a little more in the loop with how things are going through, I was planning on changing my color but all of a sudden I was sitting at 3000 when I didn't even think the order was accepted! Great that things are flying through it seems

So, I stopped by Classic at lunch today... confirmed a couple of things.

1) My car is in Arlington!!! It was unloaded from the train @10.31am this morning and will be on it's way to the dealership sometime today/tomorrow. Hooray! Looks like I'll have my new Baby in time for our get together next weekend!

2) Classic is honoring the College Student/Graduate discount. Saving me about $1500 bucks on my 2SS/RS.

3) Most importantly, if you are VIN #7890, you're car is BAD A**, I just saw it and it's a real beauty... love the arctic white stripes against the black (almost as much as I love them against the IBM!) And, here's a couple of pics of your car. Enjoy!
