If this LS7 Camaro is revealed I think it will be more expensive than people are estimating. I don't see how they could offer it for under $50,000 because the brakes, suspension, and drivetrain would need upgrading as well. For me if it was offered at $48,000 it would be a great deal considering the content but just more than I'm willing to spend for a car. I can see the bind you are in and it's why I put off ordering until more info is given. I'm not waiting for an LS7 though, just a new blue or maybe the ZL1 brakes on the 1LE. How much trouble would it be to let the dealer keep the car? I think they would understand if you ended up ordering a more expensive car from them.

The 1LE is already more car than engine. The LS7 would be a perfect addition, just add ZL1 front brakes. |

They need a mass produced 427 with ZL1 brakes... at $45K-$50K. I'm sold. |

I was saying before that the ls7-z28 would be an oddball creation since there isn't a square Ford competitor for it. It would have to go after the GT500, but at 505 hp and at 4,000+ pounds I don't see that happening. It would have to be a step up in power for either the n/a LS7 or the current LSA in order to make the camaro a closer competitor to the mustang in a drag race.

Looking forward to finding out what they have planned, I wonder what happened to that performance V6 that they previewed a while back.
