Well, got a call from Aaron @ GPI, should be shipping the differential out tonight or early tomorrow -- validated all is good and that the posi-mod is in good shape!

Now, I've started the prep for the new axle-back exhaust from Magnaflow (Purchased from Tyler @ JDP):

Following the directions:

Measured 18 3/8" from the hanger end on the passenger's side
Measured 16 3/4" from the hander end on the driver's side

Measured 3 times to validate and then used my Makita to cut (this is 25 years old and still on its first blade -- just awesome):

And the cuts:

A little filing and nice and clean cuts!

Now, when the differential gets here and installed, this baby is ready!

More to come...

Thanks! I've really enjoyed doing this type of work again. It seems its never ending ;o)

Once I get the differential back, I'll be upgrading the exhaust (Magnaflows) for the neighbors (straight pipes wake them up @ 6:00 am ;o), Moreno Motorsports upgrade, and then I'll replace the VVT SS1 cam with the BTR Stage 1 Supercharger cam to improve the idle qualities. THEN, I have a special project I'm going to try out and see what it does. Body work will come later in order to install the ZL1 rear spoiler...

Thanks for reading, I do like to 'talk' on paper so to speak ;o)

Thanks, but there are so many over the years that are spectacular. I'm just greateful I'm one.

565 RWHP, 510 RWTQ stock pulleys and on 6 PSI boost. Pretty happy with that.

For a DIY, I can't complain at all...

It did 605 RWHP without the correction, (what it actually made on the day)...

Outstanding build. I have enjoyed reading it and look forward to using some of the ideas you have done.
