Seems to me that, based on previous dyno results in this thread, those numbers are about 10hp too high across the board. I don't think I've seen/read/heard of any pure stock V8 (auto or manual) putting out much above 373hp. And the stock V6 numbers seem a bit high too compared to everyone else in this thread.

What kind of dyno was used?

What kind of correction factor was applied for the weather conditions?

Both answers would be on a dyno graph printout from one of the runs.

Sorry to be a skeptic but something seems off here...

Wow, some very impressive numbers in the last few posts here.

Just goes to show you that so many factors go into a dyno run....location, weather, type of dyno used, correction applied...even how it is placed on the dyno can have an effect. Can make someone with several mods seem worse than someone with one or two mods somewhere else, but its all fun!!

Damn I'd love to do a dyno here lol.

That's the funny thing, I don't think he had any mods at all. No CAI or exhaust but his was a LS. Mike Norris seemed to attribute my run to having heavier wheels with the 20" OEM's which can detract from the run and thought that maybe some more power could be found with lighter wheels. Still, as Mike said, it was a good pull from V6 and I was happy! I had less than 1000 miles on the car too and just now have 2700 on it. We're having another Dyno Day this year and I'll do it again to see where I am. I had my catch can put on Monday at Mike Norris Motorsport and we talked Dyno Day again and he's ready. I know the day we had this one, it was cold! I mean we all had on hoodies but I could have used a pair of gloves too.

the 18" steel wheels that come with the LS are heavier then your stock 20's.

I'm pretty sure his was an LS but I might be wrong. I don't recall the rear spoiler in it but I wasn't inspecting either. So many variables involved. I mean I live less than five minutes from the shop and drove straight there and parked. Some guys drove a distance. I'm sure that may even come into play with the operating temps.
Who knows but it was fun! We had a grill going out back with dogs and burgers, baked beans and Mike proved coffee, hot choc and pastries etc....... It was all good!
I'd say if you're within a couple or three hours of Indy, you ought to come. We'll probably do it again like the 1st or 2nd weekend in October I would imagine.

Ok, looked at my sheet...my 265 RWHP was with 242 torque. It was in the upper 60's with about 50-60% humidity all day. (Honestly don't know what effect that has, but posted it because everyone else did LOL)

First pull the dyno had a problem, second pull 261, needs a tune (CEL's) now to make it all work together.
