Aw man... I'd attend the meet and greet but I'll be in Maui.

Penske Chevrolet has done a steering wheel control. That's where I got mine done. I think I was the first to get it done there. At least they acted like it was the first. CLUELESS!!!

I did mine last week $50 for program, and $36 to reprogram the BCM

Just got back in from Hare and they hooked me up and I'm rocking the switch now for $80 out the door. I'm happy!

Wow! You should have waited and had HARE do it at our Meet & Greet we're having on July 10th since you'll be in the area.
They had my car for about that amount of time as well. Said they had the info I gave but then had to get with Tech Support again and apologized for taking so long but it was the first one they had ever done.

wow sorry about your luck SS4PK. Lesson learned though, ALWAYS get an out the door quote before you have something like that done. You've got plenty of ammo to hit them with from all the posts about how much people have been paying to get this done. An extra $50 isn't going to break you obviously but, it's more of the principal. Don't let the dealership screw you.

Good advice Darth! That's what I did. I told the Service Tech on check in that I know how much this should cost and if they couldn't do it for the price I told them everyone else was gettting it done for, I would march down to Andy Mohr's dealership and have it done. I told them I bought my car from HARE and would like to have everything done by them but if forced, I would go elsewhere. The Service Tech told me he would do everything to keep me there at their dealership and I was very pleased. They even gave me a black Camaro ball cap and invited me to the Meet & Greet that's being held there on July 10th. The same one that I'm promoting and putting together for them.

#17 - Installed the switch and harness on June 6th, went to the dealer armed with Techsupport's sheet on Friday, June 25th, and she works great. Thanks for all the work Techsupport.

thanks for the write up, i already have the audio controls, but i needed to remove the plastic to have carbon fiber done, so this help very much

Got it done last week, works great!!
recognizes iphone without problem.
Dealer took 2 hrs and charged $120.00 including the 50.00 GM fee, not too bad.
I assume they only have to pay that once though, so the next guy will get it cheaper.Definitely go to a dealer that has done it before!
