Good Morning. Another cold morning here but supposed to warm up some into the low 40's which is like a heat wave compered to yesterday not making it even up to freezing. Average temps this time of year should be in the 60's. Some of the club folks were hearing to Cars & Coffee this morning then for a little cruise but I did not want to get Ruby out in the salt covered roads & also risk hitting the numerous potholes. The salt is so heavy at this point it looks like clouds of talcum powder billowing up behind all the vehicles. I also did not want to get up that early as it is a pretty good drive for me & I take a long time getting ready.
I made me some gluten free pancakes this morning & now am having my coffee. I have a few things to look up for the meeting then off to meet with my club comrades. Happy Saturday crew.

Been looking at this thread for a while so being a old (67) fart but young at heat thought I would introduce myself. Can't imagine you all can't tell I'm a Sooner fan, so much so I went back to college after retiring and earned a BA and Masters at OU. Best part was getting student tickets! Used to drive 91 Vette but sold it to get the Camaro. It is nice to see the older crowd enjoying the joy of driving these great Camaros.

Welcome Boomer!
Three storms have blown through here so far. Glad I decided to paint instead of waiting to see what the weather will do. Some friends want to get together later, which is cool with me, 'cause I'm finished painting.

Welcome Boomer !!!
Glad you found us. You won't find any negativity here. Well, maybe some slight ribbing. But, it is all in fun. Except for Rick and Jan, they are two of the meanest snakes you will ever find. Rick -- Three storms means that you have almost reached 1/2 of your annual rainfall for the year ??? Well, off to the car shed to work. John

Had a nice evening we went out to dinner and for a few drinks with some old friends tonight. It was nice to see them again. My wife also showed me the post from the weatherman that with an average temperature of 11 degrees February 2015 is in the record books as the coldest month ever recorded in the 145 years that they have been keeping records here.

Good morning. I sure wish this eye would get better. It is starting to worry me. If it is not better by Monday I might need to get it looked at. Heading out to visit with my dad & Mike's parents today. Have a great Sunday crew.

F&%#@% & snow sucks. Just spent 4 days cleaning 4ft. of snow off the roof in the valleys on the back side of the house. 2 days it hasn't snowed but just the luck I wake up and it's snowing. Calling 4 another 6" today.
Hope the eye gets better Jan. Everyone HAGD.

We got dumped on Friday and Saturday. Most snow in a storm since 2006 and 9th most snow since 1930. Had about a 12"-18" on the ground. In 2006 we had more than 3'.

Finally getting around to posting a few pictures we took at Niagara Falls last Saturday. Some of them will look hazy mainly because it was snowing at the time and the mist from the falls made taking a clear picture from a distance impossible.
The first one we tried to capture the cracks in the ice in the lower basin. Its hard to tell but that ice is about a foot thick so you can tell how strong the force of the water is there. The second picture is the Maid of the Mist boats in winter dry dock The third picture we were trying to capture the volume of ice that is building up around the American Falls The fourth picture is me and my wife Jackie The fifth and sixth pictures were taken from the Canadian side of the falls. In the fifth picture you can see how much ice builds up in the railings near the Horse Shoe falls. The sixth picture shows how much ice build up there is on the American falls. It was way easier to see it from the Canadian side.
