"Against the wishes of Ford Motor Company, a couple of critical details of the 2011 Mustang have been posted on Facebook and Twitter. So we're going to just tell you ourselves. As expected, the GT will be powered by a 5.0-liter. It will make a substantial 412 horsepower"

Weight is still a question mark and it still comes in under the LS3 HP

But not the L99..and Stangs always respond good to minor mods..oh well traffic light wars should be on full swing next summer

This will make my trips to the track much more interesting. Ford made an interesting decision to nearly split the difference between the L99 and the LS3.

I'm not scared. I won't be stock for too long.

With how little it weighs compared to the others, this will be the benchmark for 2011. 2012 and beyond is shaping up to be very interesting.

Very good Ford, you may have just convinced me to buy a third Mustang.

+1 It would be my third also... (1993 4 banger w/ 5 speed to learn to drive, 1992 GT with built 347 stroker)

Reluctantly, if I can get a Z plan price like I did with the base GT I got this past summer (27.5K otd) I may very well pull the trigger.
