Washed, clay bar, swirl & haze removal, polished and ceramic coated. Not bad for a 12 year old car.

That looks so good BAD DAB
Just joined this group! Previously had a yellow 15 SS. Just bought a 2015 SS/RS 1LE with 23k miles, paid $33k. Has BBK LTs, hf cats, blocked off cutouts, npp exhaust with the flaps plugged open. It's loud. Sent from my SM-G781U1 using Tapatalk

Just got this 2011 2SS RS Vert with 36K miles
While car shopping online a couple weeks ago I found this 2011 2SS RS convertible with just 36K miles on her. She's a beast! She was obviously somebody's garage baby. Very pristine inside and out aside from a few rock chips and paint imperfections I'll be taking care of as soon as the weather gets warmer. She needs a good top cleaning and a treatment with 303. Other than that, she's fantastic. Bone stock other than a MagnaFlow exhaust and window tint the previous owner did. Here's what I plan to do with her:
- Gotta clean, dye and treat the top with 303. Not sure its ever been done - Clay bar and polish out the swirls - Black wheels - Red calipers - Black exhaust tips - Black out front and back bowties - Tint headlights, tail lights, fog lights, reverse lights, side marker lights, etc - Black tail light bezels - Black out side badges - Possibly update sound system with a touch screen using the PAC dash kit (I want to keep the OEM look of the AC knobs and RS gauges) - Maybe some under hood work down the road - not mechanical - just painting the engine cover and tower brace (red) - Remove stupid dealer sticker on the back (already done) Nothing that can't be easily returned to stock if I ever wanted to. She puts a smile on my face every time I drive her Last edited by CSCrider; 02-22-2023 at 04:51 PM. |

Looks beautiful! I am going to clay bar and remove swirls on my 2011 black SS as soon as the weather warms up. Nothing - I mean NOTHING looks better to me on on a 5th Gen than black
