Love the blue one, and new interior. Hate the crease on rear bumper. Not enough to trade Shakira for it.

2016 >>I need to see it in real time "touch it". Feel the size get up close before I say anything Positive or Negative. Then I will wait a year and let them work out the BUGS. Take one for a drive. Listen to the first Owners WHINE or Praise. So by 2017 they Might or MIGHT NOT have me buying number 5.

Im in HELL, and I need some professional help! Im stuck between either getting a new 15 2SS or waiting on the six...

The 15 has everything I want EXCEPT the HUD. I test drove one that was loaded up and had it, and I want want want lol. I need the short throw and dual mode exhaust, because..well, because racecar!

I made a whole list of pros and cons..including things like how I just bought louvers for the 14 I have...which will work on a 15 of course, and i know what these look like and boy are they hot. Im not sure though about the 16...dont like the lack of hand brake (no more easy donuts huh) but the rest of the interior is hot..and that red with red rock...(or its equivalent) mmmm...but, that back window and autozone spoiler? and the badge placement...

So what should I do? wait and get a 455hp and 466 ftlbs SS with the goodies I want, or get this one I saw locally at a deal, a 15 with short throw, dual mode exhaust, the backup camera (which I dont care or need) but no HUD...but it is RRM...so what to do

With the impending arrival of the C6, good deals on the '15 SS may come your way. There won't be many good deals on the C6 for a while, so you will have to decide on a '15 or '16.

Are you trading your 2LS? Might take a heavy hit on it.

I agree with Skip I will wait till I see a sixth gen in person before deciding how much I like it. My initial impression from photos is I love the blue color, and interior. Not sure about the front end including the hood vents on the SS maybe I will like it more when I see it up close. Although I have no plans to buy another Camaro any time soon. I still love my current one and see no reason to trade it in.

I know, I just worry that I might not find a good (as in with everything I want) 15, so might be slim pickins by late this year.

I would want the HUD, surely you can find one that has what you want. Have you checked with Becky at Rodgers Chevy? She can find ANYTHING

Jan - you've probably taken a few runs already. You'll have to let us know how it went.

Rick - guess you didn't escape the East Coast before the rains came. We saw how bad it was at Pimlico on the big screen at Delaware Park (I lost a few $ when neither of the other betting favorites filled in my exacta wagers . . . dammit).

Diane - it sure can get tougher to make the move to the newer version (or anything else that's new, for that matter) once you've made any mods to your own car. More so if you did the work yourself.

My 15 1LT RS did not come with hud and I had it installed. Looks like factory and works perfect. You can also remove the badge on the 16.

Autocross went fine. The car felt great. Now I just need to get better. I never went off course & only took out a few cones but times were not good at all. The course was pretty narrow & tight for our big cars. Casey (from our club) came in 4th. Anyway it was fun. I will work on downloading videos & camera pics later. I posted a few IPhone pics on my build thread. Here is one to hold you over:
