WOW! Just got home from Albuquerque Track Day Part DEUX! What a blast! We had about 15 Camaro5 people attend including Blue, RS, and myself. Now Jim Guthrie has officially broken in all of our cars, and I don't think we'll ever get the permagrin off our faces from experiencing it! Just ask RS and Blue. Can that dude drive or WHAT??? Good seeing you again Blue. Wish you could've made it MWS. We do need a get together for sure. Where is Arroyo Secco? I can't believe I got a ton of pictures, but we didn't get one of our 3 cars together. Here is a link to the southwest thread where I posted a bunch of pics. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...26#post1891626

MWS, It truly was an amazing experience today. Having a professional driver push your car like that and seeing what it is capable of was more than I could ever have imagined. The driving tips he gave us were a great help too. What was really cool was how he was able to tell the slight differences in our 3 cars. Even though they are all ls3 650's he noticed all these very slight differences and had advice on some remedies. WOW!

No helmet required on the track? Pic's look awesome. I know you had fun.
I took 1st place at the car show in "Mild Custom". They had a parade lap around the 1.6 mile road coarse. I let all the cars in front of me get pretty far ahead Like a 1/2 mile and then played catch up.. had LOTS of people that were watching the races (and Parade lap) come check out the car after that drive. LOL I drag raced a 1100 HP '69 Camaro on the front stretch of the track in front of the watching audience.. for a llittle less than 1/8 mile (remember we were on a parade lap with everyone else driving along at like 10-15 mph LOL. There was a Tbucket with a built 454 in it that did a horrendous burnout after me and the 69 went by the crowd... They were probably glad to get all of us off the track! We were a pretty rowdy bunch.. had a lot of fun doing that cruise! |

Black - Great looking car and some awesome numbers!! Love the wheels
2010, RS & Blue - Very nice pics at the track!! I'll bet you had a blast. It is awesome to push your car to the edge and see what it can do. I can't wait to get back to the track in a couple weeks. 570 - Finishing touches look great

Those were taken by forum member ZZTOM owner of project Bruiser. Unfortunately Bruiser was off being dyno tuned which left Tom taking amazing Pictures from his "Birds Eye View". Nice job Tom! I'm gonna put mine up for my screen saver. Here's a link to some more pics if you are interested. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84994

WOW! He actually did say that in post #2 on this thread. That was when he 1st sent his car to LPE. Just goes to show you how much can change in 9 months! You can't keep these cars from running fast, they just want to GO!

Nice research Ivan. What can I say the car is possessed and wants to run.
