If thats the same one I ordered from CarbonAddons, its just a cover, doesnt replace the existing antenna. No need for removal of anything, just clean, and install. I havent installed mine yet either tho lol

lol, not bad at all!! It's just a CF cover that you attach over the exsisting sharkfin.. If you look at the pic, you'll see the tape..

Yeah what I have to do with mine since I have used protectent on mine over the years, is apply a thin coat of contact cement to the bottom edge attachment points on the sharkfin where the cover attaches, then install the cover. I tried putting some 2 sided tape on it after I cleaned it up, but it wouldn't stick at all! I had to do that with a couple of my interior pieces as well. Worked great.

Noted! I may have to do the same then. Thanks for the heads up! My carbon stuff will hopefully go on next spring if Im able to save up and get my paint work done.

Yep, nobody makes a "complete" antennae replacement in CF, all of the covers you can get are FG, or ABS plastic from China. Carbonaddons.com is the only company I think that makes a real CF cover. I might not be installing mine.

Why would you not want to install it if it sticks on with double sided tape?

The carbon anyenna cover looks so sweet i love mine i did jhave to use contact cement as it just would not stick....works perfect no issued at all...
