Since Z/28 emblems started appearing on the cars mid-model year of '68, I would say that the '68 Z/28 qualified as a model as far as the public was concerned. I think in Chevy's eyes it was always a model though they anticipated it to be a limited production model, yet in '69 the number of Z/28s produced was equal to about 55% of the number of SS Camaros produced. Production numbers for those years, '67 SS 31,411-'67 Z/28 602, '68 SS 30,695-'68 Z/28 7,199, '69 SS 35,998-'69 Z/28 20,302.

So perhaps a new Z/28 is finally going to come, now if it can be made available in Synergy Green or something else similar to the first gen. Rallye Green it will sort of be the combination I've been waiting for.

Are those the real headlights? Oh we can't see them yet... But I wonder if the real ones are already one the car LOL....I think they are going to use LED laser projector beam halos with nuclear powered sub atomic resonators.

So it has to be true.
I know the product planner in Oshawa GM office, the Z-28 will be resurrected late this year possible the fall. It might be even later for Canada for some reason. They are also looking into a higher trim level than the Z-28 for 2011MY. Let's wait and see.

it will be real interesting to see what they do with the Z28. They were probably shocked at how well the V8 camaro sold and probably are thinking they can throw a supercharged version out there for 50K and sell all they can make. If they do enough improvements and have a real beefy engine in it then I would consider selling mine and upgrading to the Z28 when it comes out, depends on price and what exactly it has in it.

2. Why would a photog just give the photo away, versus making a buck on these "exclusive" photos with a big name magazine?
3. Those with an SS, other than the Z28 badge, you got the best "value" on the road as far as muscle cars go...the added cost of the Z will result in diminishing returns (value) for your money (versus hot-rodding your SS to your liking).

Again...just thoughts...
In my experience, aftermarket mods have very little value to most people. The Z/28 will be worth it. Compare the resale prices of GT500s vs Mustang GTs.

How about you have the LS and LT's with the V-6, the Z-28 with the Twin-Turbo V-6 and a performance package having it return it it's "track routes", and the SS models with an LSA or the next-gen DI V-8? Because don't forget we're talking a year, maybe two away yet. Price the Z-28 mid-30's and the SS mid-40's.
