Good luck! I should have gone ahead and ordered the grille too... The online order guide (eogld.ecomm.gm.com) had the following distribution update entry:

Week of 12/26/2011

Effective 12/26/2011, the following changes will be made to the Vehicle Order Guide:

Convertible Interior section-Added (VLI) LPO, Cargo mat. It is "A/D" on all equipment groups.
Coupe Exterior section-(VAS) LPO, Body-color grille, updated footnote 1 to now read "Not available with (H45) 45th Anniversary Package or (GAP) Imperial Blue Metallic exterior color."

Might be too late to get a factory installed IBM grille, but the GM part is still available after-market "while quantities last"... and now there's one less after my order.

Okay, no one said GM wouldn't offer a blue shade on the Camaro again. That's great...so, when do I get to order my new Camaro in a retro blue shade? Will GM be offering a Synergy Edition in LeMans Blue, Mulsanne Blue or even Marina Blue this spring??? Hmmmmmm? Please, Mr. Settlemire, give me some HOPE!!!

Scott, there is good reason you are in the position your are in at GM. I was laughing out loud when I read this and I understand your pain. This was the perfect reply to all of this. Every one needs to chill. This will all shake out in good time. To know all now would be like opening Christmas presents a month early. Who says GM does not have a sense of humor?

I have heard it said about IOM and SGM too. CGM shocks me though, that's a pretty common color. Don't shoot me, but Ford had a Mineral Gray I liked, until I saw Cyber Gray and loved it more haha.

I have to say though Carbon Flash is AMAZING! My accents are Carbon Flash Mettalic WOW, I have all kinds of ideas if I had a car that color.
