If anybody can, you can.

I suspect that beyond tying the 12 mirror into the BCM (or at least the high or low speed GMLAN, whichever it uses) the BCM would have to be reprogrammed, unless the mirror only reads from, and not talks to the BCM. If it's just reading output from the rest of the LAN, it maybe easier than I expected. But hey, that's for the other thread, I'll shaddup now

Hey guys, just picked up a 2012. I am very very interested in doing this DIY. Only reason I went with the 2012 instead of a 2013 was I got it for 6k under sticker. Did anyone get this done? (Be gentle, my first post)

No one has done this yet (that I know of), the guy who started this thread, Ofer, is doing this and I am waiting to see the end result before I attempt to do it to my 2010. I believe it will be easier to do it to your 2012, then to a 2010, but if I was you I would wait and see how it works out for Ofer, before attempting it yourself. Congrats on the car!

Thanks a bunch and I will hang back and wait. I have been reading through these DIY's and other parts of the forums and I must say, you guys ROCK! Much happier than I was with my Mustang lol.
