Yeah, I would not go zex next time. And I would like a plate system.

The ny-trex kit is a plate system. Nitrous outlet has a dedicated v6 plate system too but theirs is quite a bit more expensive.

I live about 6 hours away from Tracy, so I'll probably just go to him with everything. Lol

There's no one closer to you that can do it? Like major shops?

No one that I trust more for the LLT. I can do small stuff myself, like headers and other bolt ons. Hell, I can probably install nitrous myself, but I'll let Tracy handle trifecta for the tuning. Lol. And definitely going through him with the rx sc, if that's what we're going with. Oh, and cams of course. I don't mind the drive. I have family that lives close by.

Oh ok, yea I see. I'm trying to see how much better the ipf tune is over trifecta. If it improves over trifecta, I'm switching my tune

Do we know what the best tune is for us as far as gains go? I just found out that the 2010 and 11s are able to flash the tune back and the dealer cant tell we had a tune . . 12 and above they are able to see!

That's still in question, between the trifecta and IPF. trifecta has basically been around since the beginning of the LLT. There are proven dyno's of their gains. We are still in the process of seeing people get the IPF tune without FI, to see how that compares.

edit: IPF claims pretty large numbers, so we are just waiting to see the "proof in the puddin".

edit 2: keep an eye on this thread: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=260839

Actually, we do have some results. Check out post number 187 in that thread. That dyno graph compares stock (with an intake), then the middle line is with the IPF tune, and the top line is with headers. It is a pretty solid gain.

Ignore the first couple comments just after that post (including one from me lol) as when he first posted the graph it was the wrong one, which looked like a very small gain. He switched the graph to the correct one later.

We are certainly hoping to see more results though.
