You're not gonna do the track day at NCM? I believe there is still 1 spot open if you're interested. It's gonna be a blast!

No, I wish. The wife and I are involved in the CamaroCross so we will be tied up with that. Probably be working the whole time. Unsure if I'll even take the car at this point but we will see.
Update: OK I will be taking the car after all. Whats the point of going to the CamaroFest if I dont even bring my Camaro. Hope to see some of y'all there. Last edited by mp51998; 06-08-2015 at 11:12 PM. |

Man! I don't know what's up but I don't always get the notices saying someone has added a comment to this thread. I just got one yesterday showing Stone SS's comment on 5-31-15 and looked to find out there are several other comments.......
Anyway. I'm not able to make that trip. Hopefully next year. I got my headers and cats installed. Bought my TIG welder and got them all sealed up. We love the sound of that car! Now it turns heads before they even see it. LOL. Quiet if/when I drive it normal and makes beautiful music to my ears at anything over half throttle. Thank you to all of you that recommended Texas Speed & Performance headers to me. They're great!

It's funny you asked this when you did. I just asked him about those about an hour before I saw this posting. I think I'm going to have to lean on him a bit more. He says he'll get on it this weekend. We'll see. I've not forgotten. Sorry it's taking so long.

Sorry, no updates on photos other than to tell y'all he gave me a bunch to look at and pick the ones I want him to "make pretty."
I plan on looking at those tonight and getting them back to him for beautification. Also, Found out what was making all the popping noises in my rear axle. The dealer says all of the mounting bolts were very loose. Now you might say to yourself, hmmm, did they replace the bolts which have been getting beat on while the pig slammed against them and likely weakened them? I would have to say to you, NO. They didn't. They also said that an independent lab test on my rear axle oil which clearly states something is wrong inside the axle would NOT be taken into consideration. So, I would have this to say to Chevrolet. I've seen my fill of poor customer service from GM. I will not be replacing any of my vehicles with a new or used GM product. Maybe it's time to look at an import.

I share your frustration
However.........the uselessness is your dealer, not Chevy or GM. Your dealer, like mine sux nuff said

This is the link to the DropBox folder I made for the pictures I have from Alex on Track day.
These are the raw pics without any touch up. If there are a couple you'd really like to have touched up please let me know the file name and I'll get it back to him for touch up. No time guarantees but I'll do my best. I hear ya about the dealer...Problem is they keep telling me that's what GM is telling them to say. If that's not the case then GM needs to deal with their dealer. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/lakham84g...wIBacejNa?dl=0

Looking at it after I've cooled down.... My wife and I think those bolts have been loose since day one and just finally got to the point of making noise. We can actually shift smoothly without much effort now. Before you had to think about what you were doing to make it smooth every time.
Silver lining.
