Look at the post date, this was before GM said they didn't "reevaluate" (or whatever it's called) the numbers.

Thats what it sounded like on your 1st post so obviously I didnt see the 2nd.
Ok, writing better will get your point across better then. Writing like its a text message will never carry well.

And even if you didn't read the second post, I never said anything about being able to beat everyone on the road in the first place. I said the V6 is still slow, you can't change the fact that 3700 lbs is a lot of weight to propel, and I compared it to my Trans Am which is MORE powerful and lighter than a V6 Camaro and it's still slow. And I'm talking from a performance oriented view point, not a daily driver view point.

lol yea im well aware its not the fastest car out there i didnt say that it was.I realize theres a million cars out there that will smoke the v6 just like theres a million cars that will burn the v8.But whats your view of slow,i mean someone can mod there car real good and think that they have a fast car and then get smoked by a superior car does that make there car slow?

Yes and that was my point in the first post. Yes that V6 is fast compared to your average car. Yes it is an impressive motor for what it is. No when you start talking about performance racing it is not fast, stock.

And since I knew it would come off as bashing, I used my own car as an example. It was fast in it's day, but now it's not when there V6's starting to approach the same power output.

I get a lot of "is that a v8?" but I get about the same of "how much mpg's does that car get?" let me tell you they get more impressed when I tell them avg 25 mpg's over if it's a v6 or v8.

I felt the same way when I had the v6...insignificant. That's why I traded it in for an SS M6.

that's pretty subjective as well.

name another v6 car, N/A, that is pushing 13 seconds in the 1/4 stock, at that price point (23k)?
