You are now officially the subject of that article.

Yet, this all is probably pretty confusing for you, so let me explain why my statement makes complete sense. He tried to call me out, saying that a CTS-V did exist in 2004. Now, refer to my post and tell me that it isn't clear that I am being sarcastic? That I acknowledge the existence of a CTS-V before this generation? If so, then clearly he was wrong. Get it?

Because he hates America.

All red blooded Americans know that it is the patriotic thing to buy American goods.

2SSARME; We have had our differences in these threads, but in all honesty, as far as this thread goes, this has nothing to do with German engineering. It's more like a bunch of people trying to nitpick at my posts, trying to prove things wrong when they are blatantly wrong or when they fail to realize the difference between truth and sarcasm. That's all.

And all intelligent Americans realize that this country has risen to global superiority through capitalism. Capitalism=competition. If everybody was buying American, where would be the competition. As an American, you should be open to competition, but of course, most "patriots" don't like this because frankly, the competition is strong in the car market, maybe too strong for the american automakers. Funny how you like capitalism until you're the one who loses. If anybody hates America, it must be you. According to you, we should reject all the economic progress of the last decades and even centuries just to "Buy American," even though that's what got us here in the first place.

I love the hypocrisy here.

You accuse others of being stupid for not sensing sarcasm, yet you just committed the same act yourself. Maybe that article was speaking of you instead, hmmm?

I know all about the global economy. I'm an Economics major at one of the top 12 public universities in the nation, for God's sake. I'm even doing research in the field of economics with many notable professors. So don't give me this BS that you know all about this global economy that we live in today.

Except that in this case, it was actually quite hard to understand that you were being sarcastic. You have been adopting a pretty harsh tone against me in this entire thread, so it was conceivable that you would say something along those lines, hence the reason that I took you seriously. You should have put a or It's a different situation then when I was being sarcastic.
EDIT: Btw, I hope that's not you trying to brag. Let me just say that you have no idea who you are talking to, or what accomplishments I have had, so I suggest you keep your nonsense to yourself.

My post is much more clearly sarcastic than yours. I am making an outrageous claim, while you on the other hand are acting like a person who is misinformed.

Let's look at your post.

I don't see how BMW fails if they haven't gotten a chance to test and create a model against the current CTS-V yet. The next M5 will be the first one, and I can guarantee that it will outperform the CTS-V.
Here, it genuinely looks like you firmly believe that the CTS-V was introduced in 2008. There is no outrageous claim here, it sounds like your die-hard German fanboyism. Nothing here leads anybody to believe that you are being sarcastic. even if you were to include your rolling eyes or whatever emoticon, I would still believe that you are not being sarcastic and that instead you are misinformed.

Which leads me to believe that you truly goofed up and didn't know when the CTS-V was released, and thus you are now trying to hide under this guise of 'oh hai guyz, jk, i wuz sarcastic'

Sorry, not buying it.

My sarcasm is better than your sarcasm and I have 2 degrees from a midpack state school. Therefore I feel qualified to say that we have a serious thread derailing:

I do not mean to bash, but the post we are all referring to is #295.
