Greetings:
Looking for advise from the C5 community. The order for my 2SS/RS has been in status 1100 for 3 weeks. No communication from dealer or discussion as to when they expect an allocation for GM to accept the order. Has anyone else gone through an extensive period at status 1100 and is there anything positive I can do to move this along? Thanks in advance for the feedback. Regards, Slow Moving QGPC8K |

As of March 24th, the dealers needed to have allocation to place any Camaro orders through the end of production. Your's was ordered 3/27, so it may not get produced. After the 3/24 cutoff any order submitted is done on a will try basis. You may want to contact the dealer to see if they do have allocation and maybe it just hasn't come up yet, so see if they can find one like you ordered. Hope that helps....... |

My order number is QFSZFV. My dealer told me the TPW was the first week of April...and I don't have a VIN yet! Was he lying or is something going on?! Can you please check? Thanks

Checking on My Order
Becky,
I have been reading the tracking questions that you provide and I would like to commend you on being so helpful with people all over who are wanting to find information on when their vehicles will arrive. I can already feel the excitement and anticipation gaining speed and I just put the order in with a dealership for a 2012 2SS/RS SIM w/CGM Rally Stripes last week ( Tuesday afternoon, April 3rd ) and haven't even gotten an order number, yet. In reading a reply from a post you received it was communicated that after March24th that orders MIGHT be placed. Can you please shed some more light on this issue, Thanks. |
