Does anybody know how often an order should be checked for status...I mean reasonably? Is it just random when orders are picked up by GM? I'm still at 1100 but it's only been a few weeks--I do realize lots of folks have been at 1100 for months...the rumor is that production has picked up....any help on this will be helpful...thanks in advance!!

You're still subject to allocations which won't likely be a direct representation of increased production. A dealer that already has more allocations may get more but a dealer who does not, may not.

According my dealer. There are several factories that went down for a 2 week summer vacation (around last week of June, first week of July). Now production is picking up and going in full throttle. Hope this sets your mind at ease.

Thanks for the insight--I did extensive research before I orderedthrough a dealer here--The one I went through is a high volume store and apparently have the most allocations in Southern Cali--hopefully that will be a good thing?

Thanks C.Raiden...The rumor must be true...I heard that from someone who works corporate GM too though they couldn't "confirm or deny" that production was actually going to increase at that time.....
