I still have a cold and like is usually the case with me and colds, each day the symptoms are different so it is hard to tell if I am getting better or worse. I just could not make myself get my gym clothes on & head back out into the cold tonight. I need to get well so I can go see my dad & enjoy Thanksgiving with the family. Hope everyone has safe travels if headed out of town & a happy Thanksgiving with loved ones.

Good morning. Still cold here but not quite so bitterly cold. Supposed to warm up nicely for Thanksgiving but rain for Black Friday. Got to see as many kids as I can today to make up for them being out of school the rest of the week and try to schedule a couple of home visits for Wednesday. My cough is moving into my chest now & wheezy. I sure hope this mess clears up & does not go into bronchitis or pneumonia. HAGD all

BTW that is a nice garage John. Wish we had ours dry walled & insulated.

My son and I enjoyed the race. I was pulling for Dale Jr. to win and Harvick to win the Championship. However, only a true Champion could over come the adversity that Kyle Busch endured this year. Congratulations to Kyle!!!

glad to hear you guys enjoyed the race , I keep saying one of these years I am going to go to Daytona . They moved my indy race in st petes next year a little earlier in the mth . I usually fly down for the last 2 weeks of march and meet my wife at her parents place,. I don't know if that will happen because of the new date . we shall see .

I attended my first Daytona 500 in 1969 and haven't missed one since. However, Talladega is my favorite track. Sorry to hear they moved the race date for St. Pete. I lived in Tampa for 26 years but never attended the St. Pete Race. If you do get down I recommend The Hurricane Bar & Grill at Pass-A-Grille Beach. You can watch the sunset from their roof top.

Oh heck yeah, it can get darn cold in Tennessee. I don't know how Northerners take it in the winter.

Good morning crew. I'm up & have a hash brown casserole in the oven for my staff meeting this morning. Right now It seems like maybe my cold it a little bit better (knock on wood). It could be deceiving though because like I said when i have a cold each day the symptoms are somewhat different. Hopefully this is not just the lull in between symptoms. HAGD all.

Hope you feel better Jan. We are going to Jackies brothers house for Thanksgiving. Then we will probably spend the rest of the long weekend decorating the house for Christmas. I also need to get the Camaro into storage soon the snow can't be too far off here. Based on the cold here the last few mornings I have come to the conclusion that I love having heated seats and steering wheel in my truck. Makes the cold a bit more bearable. We have about 8 years left in our sentence here then I can retire to a warm sunny place.
