Hey fdjizm you are really coming off as a troll and someone who thinks he knows much more about a car that hasn't even been released yet or even offical specs given. Everything you reply to you act as if you know 100% that its not possible and that your opinion is correct. I'm still failing to see why you don't think the weight of the car may be higher then what some believe and if the weigh is kept down the cost of the car most defintley will go up.

I mean usually keeping weight down means uses better products which usually cost. So one or two things need to happen you should either 1) let people post their opinions and not comment unless yu have the clear cut facts or 2) just agree to disagree and wait until the final specs come out and if you are correct you can say I told you so all you want but until then quit acting like an all knowing god.

I have said my piece and now I will good back to reading worthy material on these forums.

As a side note this isn't an attack on you just my perceived opinion on what I have read from your posts.

This is the most important part of the article

Quote:
What makes the brand-new V8 engine powering the ’Stang so potent is how engineers were able to allow the engine to breathe. All-new heads sit atop an all-new aluminum block with cast-iron cylinder sleeves. The wide distance between the heads allows for the intake ports to sit vertically on top of the engine. The engine features four valves per cylinder and twin independent variable valve timing. Tuned exhaust headers eliminate the need for aftermarket headers to let the engine breath better. Inside the engine are a forged-steel full counterweight crankshaft and four-bolt main bearings and high-performance pistons and connecting rods. Peak horsepower is reached at 6,500 rpm.

Oh man oh man. Forge internals ? Nice heads ? HELLO MODS WITHOUT WORRIES.....

Hmmm I wonder how much I can get for my 08.....or better yet, I better start watching for wreck 2011's !

Edit:
For Jeckyll question, yes the Track pack is part of the new Mustang package. So 3:73 right out of the gate.

I dont know man. If the motor is heavier then add the extra weight of a 6 speed, the extra weight of the brembos, if they go to 20" wheels add the extra airbags ect ect. It adds up quick.
