It was only a partial school day but managed to see a few kids. Then a team meeting with more chastisement to see more clients but heaven forbid we say we worked more than 8 hours in a day. Mind you we are salaried employees & know full well that we will be paid the same if we work one hour or 12. It was easier to make the required productivity numbers when you could put in 10 hours on days you could see more kids knowing that there will be other days when (like today) there will be early dismissal, school holidays/inservice days, snow days, spring/winder breaks, etc when it is hard to see kids. I have resolved that if that is what they want, it is what they will get. 8 hrs a day only! I am not inclined to lie whether it is in their favor or mine. I will still do what I can but only within the 8 hour work day.

Has it been 2 years yet? Come on retirement.

Have a great weekend!

We worked out in the yard all day today. I cut down & piled up all the tall grasses & my rose bushes. Mike & I made a privacy fence to go behind the hot tub. My spring flowers are up & blooming. I had no idea it would be so hard to get the water just right in the hot tub. Still working on that one. It was a good day. Here are some pics.

Looks great Jan.

Went to two cruises today and didn't take a single photo. Yeah, I'm a slacker. :p

Looks very relaxing. I could use that right now. I have been remodeling my in-laws house weekends for the last few weeks. Every room needs to be done. I am tearing out carpeting, paneling, repairing drywall, mini bathroom remodel. I am tired and sore and have a few weeks of work left there.

It is proving to be a PITA to keep the water/chemicals adjusted right with our local water. The test strips also seem to register differently than results we get when we take in a water sample to be tested. Hope we can get it figured out soon. Off to work now. HAGD.

swap it over to a salt water system. I have it on my pool and it is cake to keep it right compared to dealing with chemicals.

I have a similar spa and the same issues keeping the chemicals at the right level. I was told you can't use the salt system as the metal inline heater will rust. We just use it with the ph not correct. If you put in too many chemicals the water puts off a bad smell.

not sure, but I know they do have salt water spas. May have to change some things but it is super easy to keep water right.

Keeping the chemicals in check is a pain when starting out. You'll get used to it, but those test strips are not reliable.

Is there an alternative to the test strips for home use? Like a test kit like you can get for pools? Any suggestions or helpful hints are welcome. I was back in there again today. I just hate getting out. The Buttercups (Yeah, Yeah, I know daffodils, but to me.....buttercups) and Crocus are now in full bloom.
