They don't have a shutdown on the week of 7/2 do they?

Wasn't sure if the plants in the states close for the holiday week and if they would do the same in Canada....

I believe they will shut down. It's part of the UAW contract
here in the state and I believe that it carries over to Canada
as well. It's done to give workers summer vacation time all
at once, at least that's what they tell me!!

I've seen a couple of them change, but you're
still TPW 6/11

Darn, I was hoping for a :flag1:ZL-1ndependence Day:flag1: with my car being born on the 4th :flag2:. Oh well, gotta give the folks their well deserved vacation

I'm soooooo hoping they can squeeze me in for a 6/25 TPW cause 7/9 seems really really really far away, hehe

Well, I went to Dave Smith Motors of Kellogg, ID and ordered a 2012 2SS Camaro Convertible with RS package and polished 20" wheels. This was on 4/7/2012. One month later the dealer calls to say GM states their allocation is full for that dealer and the car aint being built. But they offered to sell me a car on the lot.......Since I wanted Imperial Blue Metallic, which they didn't have. I put a grand $ deposit which they returned. Dealer wouldn't swap out with another in Denver as he wouldn't make any money. So I flew there myself and bought it outright. Luckily I had $3500 on my GM card and a seasonal incentive so it payed to fly out and get what I wanted.

Hence, I am never going car buying at Dave Smith Motors. They state they have volume discounts, but I got the car in Colorado for $100 less.

I see it's having stripes and currently it's bayed -
so I'm not sure if that means they are done with
stripes or they still need stripes. You may want
to check with your dealer.
