Still fresh snow on the Coq. so when we go to the coast on Friday we will be taking the Fraser Canyon.

Just an FYI - our group was looking into gas stops around Chandler. Not too many pumps with 93 octane. Might want to grab a few bottles 0f 104 or 108 boost for track fun just as a back-up if no 93 available....

We bought enough to cover until we fill up heading back home ( 4 fill-ups each).

I still need a count of how many vehicles will be in your convoy from Vegas to Chandler. Trying to get a handle on how big our convoy will be. Leaving in a few minutes to go to our club meeting to decide on what time to leave, route, ect.... Will be back soon with details!!

Call Firebird... They may have 100+ at the pump. Infineon does.

We are packing the trunk tonight.

The dollar is right where we want it for the next 2 weeks.

Update on our trip to Chandler, AZ!

We will have two groups leaving out on Thursday morning to convoy down to the speedway. The first group will be leaving @ 7am from The Orleans back parking lot by the arena. I am encouraging everyone to be there by 6:45am for a drivers meeting. We will be hooking up with the Utah and group as well at this location. We will be leaving at 7am sharp.

The second group will be meeting at the Railroad Pass on the 95. This group will be leaving around 7:30am when we pass them as we are hitting 95 south towards Searchlight. Please be there no later than 7:15am for their drivers meeting. This group will be hooking up with the first group.

We will stop in Searchlight, Needles and Parker for gas/snacks/potty breaks. Once we get to Quartzsite we will get lunch and gas up. This is where we will be meeting up with the SoCal group. From there we will caravan the 2 1/2 hours to Chandler them. I will reach out to Comm1 and see where she wants us to meet them and what their lunch plans are. We may have to split up for lunch since there will be a whole lot of us. Details to come soon!

Some things you will need to bring along with you.

Family radios and lots of batteries/charging base
Water/drinks
Munchies
Detailing supplies
Camp chairs
Camera/video
Cash/credit cards
A jacket in case it gets cool
Lots of sunscreen

One week till we roll!!! Lets get excited about this!!!!

The SoCal convoy will will be hooking up with will not be on a large scale as the one that will be coming through later in the afternoon. Just wanted to throw that out there. I know everyone in from Canada wants to get there early but it won't be a huge group like we were hoping for.

Sounds good. You didn't have to arrange your plans to keep us happy. We were ready to roll with the crowd.

I would actually prefer to meet up with the later group. I know my crew was leaning that way. If we get a mix we can break up into two smaller convoys and have people going down for both hook ups. Just a thought as well.
