I'm not too concerned and neither should you.
They still plan on a 50/50 split so as long as you are in the top 50% of the dealers SS orders, you should be fine.

I'm number 1 of 10 SS's ordered. Dealer has 16 allocations.
Not exact math, however, the dealer should get approx 8 of each car during initial allotment period (October)

I feel bad for #9 and #10 because they"ll have to wait until next year, however, I'll be getting mine this summer. Hopefully early!!

No, your dealer TOOK orders for 3/1. GM decides if he's getting 1/3 2/2 3/1...at least initially

Alright so i had to go back and read all of the posts. IF the SS is a limited production vehicle then they just marked their own demise. I want an SS and nothing less. But I still have faith in GM. I trully believe they are smarter than that.

Absolutely true. I got a little overly melodramatic there. I'm fine with some extra time to save for the downpayment. I just want my car by mid to late summer. But having ordered on 10/18 with maybe 2,500 SSs ahead of me, what guarantee do I have, or will I ever have of that?

And I find it amazing how the two dealers who have posted here so far could come away from the same broadcast with such totally different takes on what was said. So...

Standing by for more input at this point.

My dealer has an allocation for 2 camaros. I ordered a 2 LT RS on Nov. 8th and it was their first order. Am I going to get mine in April or May?

With being the #3 Corvette dealer in the country, we hear this all the time. Unfortunately, there are dealers that are trying to get you to beleive there is something more than there is. Take deposits and place orders before they knew what they were getting. We here at EVS have said all along, this will be a controlled allocation car like Corvette and that it would be very political. Sorry some others mis-represented.
