I know my 2011 1LT RS has the pre-drilled holes and I will be ordering the strut tower brace soon.

I'm not even comfortable with the idea of a 45th Anniversary Camaro. I think GM should have just skipped it.

I was waiting for the specs of the new models to be announced, but I didn't expect GM to eliminate one of the best colors! I guess that leaves my second choice, Summit White.
I'm probably biased, but I prefer the Red Jewel over the new Crystal Red. yes, it looks more red, but from your picture, there also seems to be almost a burnt red or orange hue to it. Maybe it's just the picture.

When prodded, my husband kept asking me which color I'd prefer "if" I were ever to own one. I kept telling him I'd drive any color, it didn't matter, but I preferred Victory Red or Black. Driving by the car lot one day, on one side of the dealership they had a Victory Red and on the opposite side they had Red Jewel. It was no contest which color was the best!!

Anyone else think it's wrong to have a 45th anniversary edition when the Camaro didn't have an 03-09 edition?

It depends on how you look at it. I'm sure GM is going by the standpoint that it's the 45th anniversary since the Camaro's debut, not the 45th year of production. And even though there were no new Camaro's sold during 03-09, there were plenty still on the road.

I was at Sema there are all kinds of rearview camera packages out there both wired and wireless and should be easy to install.

Ok, just wondering. I know the Rustang guys are going to try to make that argument at work.

I like everything but the stripe package on this one. It's a little to far out there for my taste. I really like the wheels though.

I really think they should offer a hockey stripe version of a 45th anniversary edition.

It is unfortunate that a Nav will still not be available considering the amount of technology the competitors have in their vehicles.

I also hope that the price of the RS package is greatly reduced because or seems like your only paying for the shark fin antenna.

Its called Garmin. And it will cost you considerably less than an in dash Nav system.
