Can somebody post a picture of how their new mirror mount looks. The plastic cover or the wiring doesn't do anymore and I'm trying to better hide the wiring.

My son and I installed the camera today. We took our time, not only removed the rear seat bottom but also the trim on the side panel. We also fed the wire through the rubber grommet rather then poke a hole in it. We also made a template that I will try and figure out how to post here, if not I will send information to you to make your own template, we didn't drill the hole in the cover I actually cut it out using a utility knife. With the template and the knife it looks like a factory install. Camera works great just like everything Ofer makes! Awesome vendor!

First off this is a great kit, super easy wiring hookup. Thanks Ofer!

Not sure if anyone has done this on a vert yet, But I did it in my moms vert. Its a little different because the rear seats dont fold down. So I passed the wires through the side.

Also in the vert there is not an airbag in the A-pillar if anyone was concerned about working around that. And the wires tucked easily into the plastic headliner part.

Heres are some pics of how I did it...

This is from in the trunk looking down the side.

This is from the top, the white wire is visible if your looking for it when the top is down(if that bothers you I would suggest wrapping it).

This mod is great. Took me longer than most cuz I was installing the Camaro OEM camera. I don't trust myself to remove the bumper. If you have a 2012 with the blank spit for the cam, you CAN install it without removing the bumper, it takes time tho.
1. Remove the license plate
2. Unclip the two license plate lights
3. Pop out blank
4. Feed the camera through the central hole, harness first. Position the camera how it will be.
5. The horse shoe bracket can bend by squeezing the flanges (where the screws go) together. Push the camera straight up and then insert the bracket. The cracker flanges go in front of the camera flange.
6. By far the trickiest part is screwing the camera and flange together. There is little room around and behind the setup. I have big hands and they are cut up but I was patient and got it done.
7. When you have the nut screw started, find a 7mm box wrench to tighten. You will only get a 1/4 turn each time but like I said, be patient and it will all come together.

Once done the rest of the wiring was a breeze. Thanks Ofer for a great setup!
