My Magnaflow axlebacks are home in the box. Who installed your SLP's and how much ?. Are they cat or axlebacks ?. I am now having second thoughts as I hear the AFM engine with the A6 tranny can cause "droaning" or a vibration when a/mkt exhaust is installed. I may wait until I hear it on another car.

My SLP was installed at the Monroe in West Springfield. I know the owner of it so I used his lift and did most of it myself. Real simple since it fit perfectly. It is an axle-back. I haven't heard any on an A6 yet, but I know ssjoe was struggling with the same question. Are any of the exhaust sound clips on here with the A6? I am sure someone has to have done it.

Thanks I talked to a guy with a Mustang GT and he told me he put a cold air intake on his and bought a high performance programer for the computer, but didn't see any differance. So he took it to this guy in New Haven with a dyno. he put it on and it only showed a 5hp gain. So this guy took it for a rip with his lap top came back and remapped the computer and put it back on the dyno. It went from 278hp to 315 at the wheels. He told me that guy cost him the same as that programer $400, he could have saved it if he went there first. Since then the same guy put a SC on it and tuned it again and now has 490 hp at the wheels with stock exhaust. I know where I'm going after I put all my stuff on.

I have heard that getting the car tuned will void your warranty. Not sure if that matters to you or not, but just something to keep in mind.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnuson-Moss_Warranty_Act

The dealer has to be able to prove that what you did caused the problem with whatever they are fixing or repairing. They can not say that your warranty is void just because you tuned the car. If you were to melt down a piston because you were running way lean after the tune...that would not be covered, but they cannot drop your warranty just because you put aftermarket parts on your car.

Thanks Sean, I'll keep you in mind.
Do you do SC add on's and do they make them for the V6 yet?
