For those reading the thread after this and taking possession of your car. Don’t get so excited that you sign the papers and jump in it and drive off (I know it’s hard to do). You should inspect your car closely for little defects before you leave. Many years ago I worked for a Ford dealership prepping cars for the lot. You would not believe how many cars come from the factory with flaws that have to be corrected before sale!
I second that , inspect your car like you are waxing it before you leave the dealer..

Believe me I wish I knew this ahead of time. Now I'm a self taught car inspector..

Don't be overwhelmed by the site of your car from a distance.. You really need to look at every part of it from every angle.. Bring somenone to help you if you can.

I found stuff wrong with my paint after bringing it home..

You will find things afterward even it you look it over well at the dealership. Different lighting conditions will bring out different flaws. so for the first few days at least look it over in different conditions.. sunny days from different angles, cloudy days, and artificial light.. you wouldn't believe what shows up under different conditions... I guess I was lucky, I haven't seen anything with ours yet to complain about...

There were roughly 250,000 1st gen camaros made in each of the years the first gen were made. They the ones left, I would say are extremely collectible and the 5th gen 1st year were made in much lower production numbers so yes they may very well become collectible 20 something years from now.

Yours is broken--You should take it back. Or give it to me. Either way.

Nope. GM stopped applying those to the Camaro last summer.
