with a cai and a cat back i went 12.40 to win the superstock class 3 years ago at the all gto event in fla .
i have since added a few bolt ons.
11.60 @ 116 with just bolt ons on stock gears .

all i can say is come get some , the proof is out there .
i have won the super stock class in fla (all gto) 2007 and 2008.
won the 12.00 index this year . same event .
won the street class at pontiac's in the park 2008
won the gto shootout at pitp on sat in 2009
won the 12.50 index at the fall brawl 2007

That's cool and all, but that says more about your driving skills rather than your car.

i paid full sticker for the car in 2005. 33,495 ,plus a 1300 gas guzzler tax
and i have spent a little over 3k for all the mods .
i have won ,traded ,and lucked in to some very good deals .(helped people mod there cars and was given the old parts .

Certainly it shows the cars potential. Most guys ain't getting 11.60. Your mad driving skills allow you to get it. You could probably drive a Yugo down the track at record pace.

no not really, i never raced till i got the gto .
the new f body has a lot in common with the g8.
g8 was the next gen of the gto.
the gto at 3725lbs was called a fat pig when it came out .
now it is one of the lighter cars .
mine is even lighter than that ,light weight is for the most part free.

370rwhp stock.

Well, you figure you lose a tenth for every 100lbs, so going back to your stock weight you would still be in the 11's.

Have you had your car dynoed? i would be surprised if your only making 370rwhp.
