I haven't checked my MAF but what is this surging your talking about. I have a flutter of my rpm's but only at idle. I'll check mine tonight.

By the way kirk pretty bold statement saying the same mods on an l99 would make it better than a ls3.

Yeah that is what he was talking about..he said when it was at idle it would fluxuate rpms up and down. All pre open loop when cold. Dang..I guess I will have to check my MAF sensor now...lol

Then again..I cant tell what is happening with mine being cammed it hops around like a jumping bean anyway.

We all ignored Kirks smack on the ls3's vs l99's...Now you had to point it out in a post we actually read...Damn You Tom. Trouble starting up again.

I would put my L99 against any LS3 with the same mods......BRING IT ON!

For us L99s, its all about the tune baby!! We can gain alot in the tune, especially the tranny tune if done correctly, much more the the LS3 can.

Lucky duck on the sensor...And very efficient too getting it checked so fast.

Tom you can take Kirk...but dont race Julie...

Nothing shitty about the Hennesey other than those with different ones (Don) say theirs is better...Dont listen to em and you will be fine.

Speaking of Don...where the heck has he been..must have new AZ friends and he is dissing us all.

WHile I agree with Larrys comments on the CAI, there is nothing shitty about the Hennesey and believe me, I doubt you will notice the 5-10 HP you may get from another CAI. I must DISAGREE with his comment about takin me. And, hes right, you dont want none of Julie! Larry can bring a 12 pack and add it to your 12 pack!

Now Kirky...... you know that it is entirely possible that you will actually end up talking to someone on the phone right up until you stage and then leave your air conditioner on....I think its a toss up no matter how you slice it and in fact Tom might have the advantage due to you causing some wind resistance issues with impact from small animals and object.

I'm not interested in pissing off any of the other auto guys. So I'm not bringing up the LS3 crowd vs the l99 group. I've stated my feeling before. I went back Kirk you did say same mods on l99 would make it better than LS3

That is a destinct possibility! I did actually hit no less then 5 birds on the way to Vegas. I believe it was a suicide pack!

I may get a bit more wind resistance due to the fact my car hasent been polished since last Spring when Adam did. WAIT, I believe the best waxer/buffer/polisher on this site does have an L99!! WWHHHOOOTWWHHOOTTT!
