So...
PBIR- although announcing via telephone they were open... and the serendipitous clear skies... decided to close, "just cuz"...

Made it out to the Bravo Wednesday car show in PSL instead. Late arrival=diminishing turn out. Was welcomed by several older car owners and a couple (few) Mustang owners... however blatantly dissed by the majority of the Mustang club there; and even Viper owner. Did manage to steal the show; but would like to see a more predominate Camaro showing in the future. Perhaps if not a full "meet", some local members get together and represent... all the while displaying the professional etiquette our club has proven this past year!

Hey Mikey- Nittos came today, initial measurements seem about a full inch wider than the stock Pirellis.... we'll see if it changes any when they're mounted, looks good for now!

No- I went from 275 to 285... but there was some discussion about the true width of Nitto's vs Pirelli/Michelin etc... someone posted a Nitto one size bigger, actually measured smaller than the Michelin... now, that was the Envo's- I got the NT 420's, so that could be a difference... but, with a tape measure, I'm lookin good (bigger) so far...and the bare eye- looks noticeably bigger- height and width (I'm supposed to gain 1/4 inch height and about 1/2 inch width)

I got about another month of tread before I need to mount em... but I'll let you know the final comparisons

I recently purchased the Nitto Motivo's. They have a 560 tread wear rating and 60k mile warranty. Haven't mounted them yet because I still have a couple thousand miles left on the pz's, but they look good in the corner of my garage. Lol. They were the only tires I could find that met manufactures specs other than the pirelli's.
