Hell yeah!!! I'm done with that part of my life where I sit in the nose bleed section! Admittedly, at a Hinder concert I pushed/elbowed my own daughter out of the way when the lead singer came by. She reminds me of the incident from time to time. I explained that there are certain situations that warrant "every man for himself." It's better she learn that now.

Hi boys 'n girls. Where'd ever body go? Too hot fer ya? Yer all indoors playin video games?

I have a question fer ya's.....

Back in the day I had myself a pilots license. Every small plane, maybe every big one too, I don't know, has a section in the owner's manual that shows the effect of take-off distance due to altitude and temperature. The higher the altitude and the higher the temperature the longer the take-off distance. This is complicated by the weight of passengers, baggage and fuel load. The combination of altitude and temperature is called "density-altitude". Has huge implications on safety in an aircraft setting.

In an automobile the only thing that is really affected is engine power. Thebrainhart experienced this recently when he went on his trip to Calif. and beyond. He had much more power at sea-level than he does here in Utah. My question is.... are there any charts that show how much power is lost per thousand feet of altitude and increase in temperature. Such a chart would probably show the loss in percentage of horsepower.

Anybody know of such a thing and where I would find it?

I wondered this myself and I found the chart on the NHRA's website. I'm too lazy to look it up now, but I can at least give you something to start with.

Btw, Salt lake's elevation = almost a full second slower for the 1/4 mile. (.9 I think it is)

Has anybody else swapped out their brake/clutch fluid yet. I was reading on some posts that dust from the clutch can contaminate the system and cause the clutch pedal to stick. I went out and looked at mine and it looks dirty. Anybody done this?

Maybe this is why some guys have made a separate MC and reservoir for their clutch fluid. Maybe Jordan ought to make such a system available for install. Just another reason for him to get into my wallet.
