By the way - the dealership said the people who took my hood off to paint it underneath didn't put it back on properly which is why it wasn't aligned properly - but that they have fixed it now.

Which would be fine if I'd ever had my hood off to have the underneath painted.....

They didn't believe me! They said don't worry it's still covered under warranty even though you've taken it off - and I was like "no, seriously I've never had it off so can you clarify what you mean!"

He just said its definitely been off and he can show me the tell tale signs when I go to pick it up - so I'm intrigued and will also be asking what happened with it before I took ownership - doubt I will ever find out mind you - although to be fair the guy sent me pics of it coming off the truck and I picked it up the next day!

So if something did happen I can only assume it was before it even got to the dealer.

Although I only noticed the hood alignment issue last week and I'm sure I'd have noticed before now! Confused!!

I started to get annoyed and then just cooled off - if it's fixed then that's all that matters in the grand scheme of things.

It's pushed to 8'x4' and can be rolled up. Beyond that and it comes out of your allowance.
