Okay...................we're now less than a week away from Mid-West Camaro Fest in Independence, MO put on by the Kansas City Camaro Club.

Who is going...............as Tim has asked a couple of times earlier...........please add your name to the list so that we know who is going and so we can set up meeting locations.

Back from Brainerd. NHRA Rocks Nitro Rules

The fastest pass was 327 mph by a nitro dragster (schumacher). The Pro Stock Camaros look awesome. They didn't win but Chevy power did win(enders). Talked to PS driver Greg Anderson about the new Camaros and mentioned our club. And a very attractive young lady asked about my ICE tshirt. She was from nw Iowa,can't remember town. So we may hear from her. I gave her the one card I had. Great weekend of racing and nightly camp fires on the beach.

LPE had been supportive at all my events, so I explored and was pleased to see they are a good fit. Their common presence, high speed shop, personality match, and close weekend drive round trip ease- makes them my current choice of builder. Having some close Iowa support was/is a supporting factor and it will be great to have Karl's at part of the team.

Countdown (my choice) T-3 months to get the beast pumped up/let the phases begin.

Lingenfelter people are great to talk and work with. (I at C5F ordered the LPE 3:91 and itching to get them in)

I had a nice chat with Ken himself, and another Lingenfelter person at the host hotel parking lot show. They seen my car with their body kit, and when they noticed my Iowa plates, the question of what part from. Then the Karl Chevy came out and they were excited to have them as a authorized supplier of Lingenfelter parts, and partnered also in the Camaro upfitting.

I'm thinking the body kit to make 1st gen retro look, and the Trans-Am look also might be a co-partnership/cross selling?

Karl also had a car in the Lingenfelter display at the Camaro Superfest

I will assume the new Karl Performance will be a popular place to visit
