We have rain in the forecast for the next three days here. Rain this time of the year is very uncommon for us.

Morning Everyone - Well I celebrated my 60th on Cinco De Mayo. Then headed to Talladega with the family for the weekend. Here's a few pics from Sunday. Have a great day!

Happy Birtday Trick! Have fun at Talladega!

My new Mitsubishi Mini-Split was finally installed for my garage yesterday. It is like a small central air conditioner, but costs way less. Hoping it takes the edge off the heat in there when I want to work on a car during the 100* plus temps we get. If it cools the garage down to the 80's, I will be happy.

Thanks Rick - Let me know how the Mitsubishi works out. I could certainly use one in my garage.

Wow, lots of interest. Cool.

My HVAC guy said to get a one ton unit. I bought a unit to cool only. Don't need a heater here in AZ. But you can buy a unit that heats and cools.

One part of the unit mounts high on the interior wall and the other part mounts outside on a pad in the ground. I'll take some photos in the daylight.

Since it has been installed, we've had record cool temps here. However, it runs very quiet and I can feel it cooling the garage. There are louvers on the interior wall unit that move up and down to rotate the direction of the cool air.

My doors are insulated, but my two exterior garage walls are not. Therefore, it will never get real cool in there. My goal was to cool the garage into the 80's. I can work comfortably in those temps.

As soon as it heats up here, I'll be able to really test it.

Ever since the mini split has been installed, temps have been cool here. Coincidence?
