I have the carlyle with the BMR drag pack. the install was super easy and fits amazingly. I will never go back from 15" wheels.

How much of an impact do you think it made at the track on your 60' times?

I haven't really left the line with gusto yet. my best 60' is 1.6 and on 17" wheels my range was 1.7-1.8. This friday I will be making my first 2 step launches and if I can get them to hold I am hoping for 1.5's or maybe even lower. We are in about 6500DA right now, so testing is not ideal.

Thanks for the feed back on the 15" set up. The more folks speaking good about it and no one speaking against is making me feel better about going that way!!

Appreciate the input guys!!

No worries, you have the hardware to get there, it will just be a matter of giving it some seat time and seeing what works best for your launch.

I am eager to see what I will do on the 26th. At least I will be trying it out on a low key event (track rental) because initially I was talked into to entering the LS Nationals (rained out) which the thought of making an idiot out of myself running low 10's or even possibly a high 9 with other folks running 7's - 8's had me all messed up.

LOL, it would definitely be a lot less stress on this old man, but for now I will continue rowing gears. There are a few 9 second stick Camaro's around but not a lot of them. I am hoping to join that short list if all goes well

You are embarrassed by low 10's, high 9's. In a street car? I would love 11's. Hell. Even low 12's at this point!!

I didn't mean it that way.

I think a low 10 sec street car should be considered fast and nothing to be ashamed of. BUT at a racing event where most of the participants are set up specifically for the event and are running 7's - 8's while you are running high 9's low 10's, then you have to ask yourself "why are you there." A rainout saved me from that.

I was basically approaching the event as a cheap "track rental" since the tech card was only $50 whereas rentals can vary in price depending on how many folks are participating but lets say on the average it is $300.
