The new issue deals with the fly wheel. The motor is internally balanced. The fly wheel is for an externally balanced motor. As such, we have to put on the correct fly wheel. I now have three fly wheels. ![]() When this is all over, I'll post all of my "extra" parts (many of them new) here. People can contact me thereafter if they're interested. Thanks all for your support in this time of "pain".

Got the new fly wheel today. It may get installed this afternoon, but most likely, will be tomorrow.
The hood is finished and ready to go back on. That should happen tomorrow. I'm hoping to take it home this week!!!

The '69 is nearing completion.
![]() We had to tear down the top of the motor again! This time, we had to adjust the valves. ![]() The motor smoothed out when we swapped the fly wheel. Hind sight, I should've gotten a ZZ4 crate motor. I would've been better off. Instead, I listened to Jim Guthrie.:( I'm so happy this is almost over. Anyway, the car should be ready for this Saturday's auto show at the Sandia Motorsports Speedway. I hope to see some of you there as I'll be sitting there all day by myself. ![]() Here are the latest pics.

Not sure if I'm going to make it to the Auto Show this Saturday. We're having electrical problems now. I'll know more tomorrow.

Massive electrical problems drove the gang to perform some major rewiring to isolate the computer and the MSD ignition. Plus, we decided to move the computer inside of the car.
It looks messy now, but the wiring is much cleaner under the hood. It is still possible to get it to the show tomorrow. I'll do some test driving today if the rain doesn't hamper things. The weather is supposed to improve tomorrow morning. So there's still hope. My other hope is to get to the Sonic Summer Nights event tomorrow night. We'll see...
