What would a Z/28 version cost????

If a loaded stick 2SS lists for about $38,000 where might a 556 hp version take the car to?? It takes about $20,000 to make a Cadillac CTS into a CTS-V,but that's starting with a V-6...I'll estimate that a 556 on a 2SS would add about $7,000 (Gas Guzzler tax?)...that would put it at 45K...

So what do you think?

I just returned from our PX here in East Baghdad, saw the new magazines, bought the magazine, and this is what I have to say about this concept of the Z/28:

1) This is what I thought the SS would look like. My memory keeps taking me back to 1993.......this is how I feel about the current new car- it's a brand new Soldier, but it's not airborne, ranger, or special mission quality of a Soldier....just a brand new Soldier.

2) The current grille is out of place. This concept of the grille is awesome. The lights, and everything scream out at ya.....bad ass.

Whether a Z/28 comes out or not, these items need to come out for the next round of the car (three years from now, you can improve them even better). Mustang is doing an alright job improving their little pony, we should be able to do the same. Maybe even sooner if you're good enough, GM.

Alright, back to battle tracking!!!

Don't get me wrong, I love the new Camaro. I have ordered a new Camaro. I want the new Camaro.

But, there is a business side to this whole situation. Tighter emissions standards, CAFE requirements, Competition in the market place, Financial constraints. THese all need to be rectified before we will ever see this one on the streets.

Would I like to see this bad boy. Heck yes. Do I need this bad boy. No.

That's why I am happy with what I have ordered.

Yeah we know about it. I'd say it's about the twentieth time it's been posted We keep merging them all together. If you can't find your thread here in a minute you will know why...
