Well very disappointed in KB response. I am second on the tree with JRE that we the shops are being blamed for the IAT issues on this product. Now my customers are the ones footing the bill to cure a bad R&D issue. Sad to say but Maggie and Whipples from now on. Two thumbs up to Jannetty and Norris for their input as tuners with proper logs etc, and just to see KB worry about if the hood is open or not. We have provided ample information to show the issue. Its not coolant temp or engine temp etc. Straight IAT's. Thank you for everyone else for your input as well.

Thumbs down

I'm with you guys; the ubiquitous borderline propaganda from Kenne Bell is pathetically disappointing but, having perused their web site, not unexpected. I love the whole, "this isn't about Whipple" part of KB's response, too, as their web site and "test data" is chock-full of attacks on other companies and their respective products. That begs the question, if your product is as earth-shatteringly revolutionary as you claim, why won't you just let it sell itself rather than go on the offensive with your rhetoric? After reading testimony from well-respected tuners and customers alike, KB definitely has severe issues with their fifth-generation Camaro kit and, as such, have to resort to attacks as they otherwise have no substance on which to rely on. Perhaps first to market with a twin-screw compressor isn't all that it's cracked up to be; just ask Whipple and Vortech / Lysholm.

Hey! I saw one of those at Lebanon last month at it ran low 11's. Isn't that faster than you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But it got squirrley at the big end and rolled over a few times. It sucked because they were pitted next to us and were really nice guys.

Ha, 25k less you wish!!!I have 5k in tires and wheels alone!!! If you don't get some more parts I may take the trailer off and race you with the Duramax. Ted will have it there on Friday assuming all the parts are in. But he will be juicing up my tune. It;s called the "smoke the southerners" tune!!!!!!!!!!

Oh at the word "small fee" and "JRE"are never used in the same sentence. But we all want the best so we have no issues paying for it! Sorry Ted

Excellent test you have set up Mike....and Tyler has my respect as well as Ted from Jannetty. Ted does alot of FI, and in the dialog I've had w/Tyler he does as well. We develop products for the aftremarket performance market and one is on one of the test cars (maybe 2 if Jason is one of the maggies). I still stand behind the fact that the KB can make tons of power....just need to be able to use it all and the IAT tables in the tune are set to pull timing when a certain threshold is reeached...and that is where so many are disapointed. Anxious to see the results. Pay your weather bill!!!! (so it dont rain).

Folks, the thread's gotten back on topic, for which I'm thankful -- but I'm going to gently ask that the nastiness get turned down....we're not piranhas...please voice your opinions in a more respectful manner.

Agreed....I've been doing a lot of reading here since I still had the interest in the KB.

Snide comments....they won't get anyone anywhere. I know people can, will be, are...whatever...disappointed. But, keep it civil. Please AND thanks.
