I think the rear of the 5Gen Camaro is "perfect" for the look of the car. I love the rear 3/4 pics. The only thing I'd fix is the back up lights (looks like an after thought) by putting them into the rear diffuser like the C6.

I tried to find the thread again but couldn't, but I was looking for the performance packages GM already announced for the V8 and V6 some time not too long ago. Couldn't that be what this refresh is or was that simply a planned package or concept they were tossing around?

Oh and I'll take the euro-spec lights and rear fascia in a heartbeat. They look a lot more modern and really give the rear more of an edgy look. Cosmetically speaking, it's just a slight bit different than what we have now. Makes me wonder why the different designs between euro and US to begin with (just talking about the lights) and I bet you could order the fascia and lens assembly and go ahead and do it if you were so inclined.

When I hear refresh, I think of the difference between early 4th gen and late 4th gen. They cut the point off the nose, re-shaped the rest of the front a tad and put in composite beam lens/lamp assemblies instead of the off-the-shelf rectangular glass ones. That was the most striking difference to me and could be something like what we see here.

I think the euro spec requires the amber turn signals and separation of brake lights from the turn signals. There is also a rear fog light requirement. There may also be something about the reverse lights too..
