probably about right, but getting another 100-150hp out of an LS3 is going to cost a lot more than getting an extra 150-200hp out of a gt500.... like 10 fold lol.

GT500 2010....................46k

All 3 are Supercharged, all 3 make mid 500's in HP. All 3 come with a warranty, and all 3 contain third party parts...lets go!

what 3rd party parts on the gt500?

none of the comparisons are fair, but still interesting. its like i could take an SS. but if we both break, he gets his fixed for free, im coming out of pocket lol

The poster was mistaken about the third party parts on the GT500 but both of the Camaro packages come with a warranty.

which is why i said his would be fixed for free.

gt500 does have a 5/60k powertrain warranty though, instead of 3/36k

Not another price comparison post....

When they know they can't win, they have to bring this stuff out.

That is where it gets really interesting. Bolt on packages for the GT500 are available ranging +50HP to +250HP without ever touching a valve cover .

The TVS stage 2 kit is 200+ RWHP, costs $5,100 , and takes 3 hours to install at a shop or at home.

Anything above that power level, like with a KB, they suggest switching out fuel injectors and TB to support the bigger S\C...... so the cost goes up slightly with the extra goodies and install time.

Why dont you post that to a vette Forum and see what they think.

Through all this I'd take a loaded out 2010 GT500 with black and off black stripes over any base LS3 corvette.

That being said you could get a lightly used Z06 for the same price... so either way it probably wouldnt happen.

$40,000.00
$29,000.00
---------------
$69,000.00

$2000.00 more than a Camaro?!?

Maybe I missed something, or maybe this is sarcasm...but it certainly isn't reliable math. My only guess is you meant Vette instead of Camaro.

Probably doesn't matter at this point. I lost interest after page 2 and most likely won't check back. I can't believe you got away with that one though and nobody noticed after two pages.

That would work

You can take the wife for a ride in the back seat of the CTS when
you duel with the Mustang

The only way to settle this dispute is to match the two
V6's That would be totaly equal
I don't think the old Ranger pickup engine would have a chance
against the Camaros 304 HP V6
