Yikes. I hadn't logged in since last night and I guess we stirred up a hornet's nest.

I didn't mean to offend anyone by taking my car to a shop. It just seemed that the mod days were pretty full of work already. I did take advantage of the good will of some of you nice folks to do a few things to my car. But, I don't want to assume that it's okay to ask people to teach me how to work on my car or do the work for me. I am very interested in learning. I just don't think it's right to ask. I don't want to be seen as a mooch. I'm not afraid to turn a wrench or swing a hammer. I've done plenty of that in my life.

On the other hand, in my own defense, I was trying not to be rude by asking too much of others precious time (I know you all are busy people) and by doing so, I was scolded for wasting money. Maybe that wasn't the intent, but that's how it read to me. My apologies if you meant otherwise.

I think you all are wonderful Camaro comrades for helping us all with our cars. Many of you are very knowledgeable and are willing to share that. I thank you for that. I was honestly not trying to be rude or offend those who have been so willing to help all of us noobs. Thank you again.

I am willing and able to have a shop do some of my work on my car. I'm not rich. I work hard for my money, but I pay them and I don't feel guilty for asking them to do the work. Thanks to them too.

On the other hand, I am a computer wizard. I do all my own computer trouble shooting. I build my own computers and tweak them. I get a lot of satisfaction from that. It's not everyone's cup of tea. Just like putting in my own sway bars and springs isn't mine. But, I can still enjoy my car even if I didn't put all the parts in myself.

I've really enjoyed being a member of this Ohio Camaro group. Everyone has been so nice without berating the V6'ers, the automatics, the noobs, or those who don't yet have a Camaro. You are some of the nicest folks I've ever met. Can we all have a group hug now? I love you guys!

I would like to come to KMart tonight, especially since I just got a new exhaust too. Not sure because I have a lot to do around home. If I do come, it will be 6:30-ish, because I can't take off work early and I need to do the same thing I saw Prostock69 doing.

LOL! OMG...I'm sure I looked a wreck! I was sweating my butt off! Then I got home and waxed it. Took two more hours to complete it but she's spotless now. I always look at other Camaros too to see if it's someone I know also. Usually it's not...lol.

Um... why did all the camaro5 guys disappear so fast tonight? I'm here at kmart and I am by myself.

I just left around 8 PM. Three hours in the sun was not so fast. Prostock was still there when I left, but they were talking about leaving for dinner too. gahammerle was there as well but left earlier. Never saw EarliestMemory. Not too crowded tonight, probably the 90 degree weather. Prostock's sounds and looks awesome!

Thanks guys! We just got home (10:00) after eating Sushi, our girl's favorite thing to eat.

IceMan, we LOVED the sound of your exhaust. That is what we want ours to sound like but I don't think it's possible with our cam.

Gahammerle, I'm sorry I didn't come over and say hi. I was busy keeping our youngest occupied and it was so hot (for me at least). I was quite miserable and ready to go after being there 1/2 hour. Maybe next time we can plan to park all together so we can sit and chat

Darth Emma, so sorry about your car! I hope they can find a solution on Monday. If they can't, will you have to send the wheels back? Have you considered not having the sensors hooked up? You can turn them off. Darin uses his handy tire pressure gauge and does it manually. Just a thought.

We have a black with dark grey stripes. We got there about 8-815. Tons of cars still there.

I saw a black 2010 pull in the lot near Waffle House right as I was leaving, if that was you, you only missed us by a minute or two. A lot of the cars at the cruise-in had already left by 8 PM. Where we were parked, I was the last car left in that row. You'll have to make it a little earlier next time, usually our group has made dinner plans and left by 7 or 8. Next time.
