I have both the Chasis and Strut brace. your right about them. They will sure come in handy at the drag.

Before i left in March i took car to the track and had some still launch photo's taken. Even without a supercharger and running stock rims and tires, but with some mods like CAI, Headers, Corsa, tune and a few others the car's front end almost comes off the ground and you can see how the entire car twists. I hadnt noticed it until you mentioned having the braces for the drag. That made me go back and check out the photo's and sure enough the car twists right off the line. The actual photos are at home and i had someone take a pic of the two 8/10's side by side and send it to my email. I will try to upload from here, but i dont know if i can just yet. If so i hope they arent to blurry so you guys can see what im talking about.

Launch Photo's with a twist

Sorry if these pics dont turn out. Its a pic of pics.

Hopefully you can see what im talking about. I know its not much twist, but again this is without an SC and around 400/400 rwhp and tq. After the 650 package with some extra goodies i should be around 610/600 rwhp and tq along with DR's. Imagine the twist then

BTW: the stripes and rims in this picture are no more!
I hated the stripes and i bought forged wheels. These will be used only for the drag.

I am about 20 miles south of Fort Wayne and 20 miles west of Decatur. Maybe about 2 hours north of Indy.

We just got back from a nice long weekend in the Jemez mountains. Boy I guess we sure missed a lot. Sorry to hear about you rearend Speed, but glad you've got it covered!

Paul, we are so ready to see this awesome build finished!

BWS, thanks for all you do for us, and I hope your build comes along nicely for your homecoming. In my case, I had to wait on wheels and tires, but it's not so bad, you can just practice your "drifting" till they come!!

570, sorry to hear about your bartender. Thanks for all your knowledgeable advice you have to offer all of us.

MWS, glad you had a good 4th, and lookin' forward to meeting you and your family this weekend. I know it will be worth the trip.

Here are a couple of pic's of my autocross wheels mounted on the car.
The Wheels are the 18" CCW C2K's. These are definitely not for street driving...

The 1st pic is of the rear wheel (the rear tire is just shy of a 13" wide footprint...) it's hard to capture the width in a picture...

These wheels took a LOT of work to make them fit - the only use for these wheels is extreme cornering in a FLAT parking lot....
These pictures were taken before I swapped the lower control arms for the Spohn components.

I align the car on July 10.. I am getting ready for my next SCCA event on July 18th. Hopefully this is the last major setup the car needs.

I pray I will be done - I'm ready to start Kicking ASS at the next event and going forward... Keeping my fingers crossed that everything works out as planned.

Those are some aggressive wheels and tires!. It appears you are sitting higher. Did you have to raise the struts to get the wheels and tires to fit?

thanks
