Holy Sheet! Seriously? And you will be able to drive this on the street? Wow! I can't wait to see this build too.

This is going to be a pure street car. I want to drive it out of the garage, hit the track and lay down a single digit pass and drive home. I will be more than happy to give you a ride and I will never go balls to the wall on the streets, so no worries of sh%$#@ting all over my car.....LOL I will try to keep in touch when I will be coming to pick it up. I want to try an be there when they tune it and run it on the dyno.

Prostock69, I will agree 100% that you need to do the suspension upgrade as it makes these cars completely different and you will notice it immediately. It cost around $450 for a complete kit of sways/end links and drop springs and the install is super easy. I have the Eibach Pro Kit and am very happy with it.

Sweet, i will be stopping in time to time to see it! Also, don't you live in Lexington? I live fairly close, I could come down and check it out. Lexington is about the same distance for me as Cinci.

Thanks! I'll talk to Darin about it and we'll see about getting it done before winter gets here. How does it help on launches?

You are going for WAY more hp than I'm looking for. I'm hoping for between 500-600 and I want my car to have good street manners. But, I do LOVE to follow the big builds on the forums! Have you been following speedster's journal? OMG!
The easiest way to follow along in our builds...CHECK my Facebook. You dont have to be a FAN, so you shouldnt have to sign up.

I actually live in Bowling Green, KY and am about 3.5 hours from Cincy. The springs and sways do nothing in helping the car launch but really tighten the car up for street driving. I have replaced every suspension component and every bushing which eliminated wheel hop. I have not started a journal on this build yet but did a journal on the original build of 750hp. I will be starting a new journal as soon as Craig gets started. Yes I have been following Speedster as I have gotten to know Bruce fairly well and I met him at Camaro5fest and we have talked ever since. We have discussed both of our builds and mine is extreme compared to most and I have way too much money in my car but Speedsters build is just unbelieveable and most people just dont understand exactly what he is actually doing and the time, money and one off custom fabbed parts is insane. We were hoping to have both cars done by middle of August to make it to Challengerfest as it is being held here in Bowling Green, KY and we both are on the list to do the shootout against the Challengers. We will see but I am not sure this will happen, but I am hoping.

Sorry for not making it out. I had a feeling it was going to be a pretty hectic morning and true-2-form there wasn't a spare minute to be had. I would really like to get down there at some point to check out your shop (Craig) and say hi
Jeff

if your car is finished, you would be eating Challengers like snackie cakes all day long. That is just not nice.
