How will I know when it has finished getting its war paint (stripes) and is actually in transit to the dealer (QMQZ89) ???? When it ships will the dealer be invoiced before it is shipped (I think they would)??? Do you have an actual status code for where it's at???? The closer I get the longer it seems to take . After waiting 291 days (but who's counting) from my 1st try at ordering one, I'm getting anxous to get the "Beast" home. As always thanks a million for being there for us.

My order had a TPW of 8/20 and has the following options. It seems the constraints have all been removed and I am in line. But that line must be awful long. My original order date through my dealer was 6/20/2012 and I am getting inpatient.
I envy all those guys & gals who have been told that their car has been built.

GM Dealer Business Center and ask them - or they
can go to GMGlobalConnect, Order Workbench, Manage
Inventory tab, Order Inquiry or look for the order under
the Intransit tab, click on the order and it will show
the railcar #. If you get it post back and we'll get
you the railcar tracking info

Good Morning Becky, I went to the dealer yesterday and got ALL the paperwork done so when the car comes in all they have to do is hand me the keys! Unfortunately I go out of town this Thursday so I hope when I come home next Tuesday it will be waiting on me!! Hopefully we are shipped again today! (QMHNG1).

Also, they had a SWEET 2013 Black ZL1 coupe sitting in the showroom, The dealer told me it was a 2013 at least I didnt pay attention to the sticker on the car I was side tracked HAH

Basically It means the car is awaiting shipment, (built and awaiting train car headed in the same direction) or in between two methods of shipment. (off loaded from train car and awaiting trucking to dealership)

Just wondering if QMVPPN has shipped yet so I can start bugging my salesperson for the railcar number!

If my car is getting stripes will it say Bayed through that whole process, so once it goes to 4200 I know it is on a train or does the code go to something else and then back to bayed or how does the striping work?

Hello, Becky! QNHC5M is in TPW 8/27. I've held off asking for a status update because I know production is running behind.

However, I can't take it anymore. So, please give me some good news. It has to be good because after all, I do have C5 in my order number!

Good news is needed as Hurricane Isaac made landfall just west of New Orleans this morning. I'm about 90 miles west of New Orleans. We're getting some of the effects now and it will probably continue all day.

How about a nice 3800 status!
